The Learning Pod is a collection of over 130 online video tutorials in Mathematics, and over 100 online video tutorials in English. These short, dynamic presentations help young people to increase their knowledge and understanding of the key mathematical concepts within GCSE, Standard Grade and National Qualification courses.

Each tutorial:

• focuses on a specific area of the Mathematics and English curriculum
• presents key points of learning through video, audio and animation
• is delivered in a language and style appropriate for young people
• is accessible at school and at home

The Learning Pod has been developed in partnership with East Ayrshire Council.

The Learning Pod costs £300 per year for a Mathematics site licence, £300 per year for an English site licence or £450 per year for both subjects purchased together.

Home licences are available for £12 for either subject, or £18 for both subjects purchased together.

This exciting new section of the resource will be based around 18 short cutting edge movies which focus on the key issues of a young person's learning. The Learning Pod: Learning about Learning will be available early 2009.
